Privacy-First Design

This platform is built with privacy as a core principle. We understand that emergency situations require trust, and we take your privacy seriously.

What Information We Collect

  • Animal photo - Primary requirement to help assess the situation
  • First name only (optional) - We only ask for your first name if you choose to provide it
  • City/Area (optional) - Only approximate location (city and neighborhood), never exact addresses
  • Brief note (optional) - Additional details about the animal's condition, if you can provide them

Note: Only the photo is required. All other fields are optional to reduce barriers for those who may not be comfortable typing.

What We Never Share

  • Phone numbers - Your phone number is never collected or displayed
  • Exact addresses - Only city and area names are shared, never street addresses
  • Full names - Only first names are visible to veterinarians
  • Personal contact information - All communication happens through secure in-app chat

Communication & Chat

  • All communication happens through our secure in-app chat system
  • Chat messages are temporary and will be automatically deleted after case closure
  • No phone numbers are exchanged between parties
  • Veterinarians can only see your first name and approximate location

AI Assistance

  • AI-assisted summaries are generated to help veterinarians understand cases faster
  • AI provides possible injury type and urgency level suggestions
  • AI never replaces medical judgment - All final decisions are made by qualified veterinarians
  • AI summaries are clearly labeled as "AI-assisted summary — final decision always by the doctor"
  • AI never communicates directly with rescuers - only veterinarians communicate with rescuers

Data Retention

Case data is retained only for the duration of active cases and automatically deleted after resolution. Chat messages are temporary and cleared when cases are closed. We do not maintain long-term archives of case information.

Your Consent

By using this platform, you consent to:

  • Uploading a photo of the injured animal (required)
  • Sharing your first name (if provided) and approximate location (if provided) with veterinarians
  • Having veterinarians view your case information
  • Using the secure chat system for communication
  • Automatic deletion of chat messages after case closure

Data Security

All case data is stored securely and temporarily. Information is automatically cleared after cases are resolved. We maintain strict privacy protocols to protect all users.
